A hockey mentality podcast hosted by Jeff Lerg and Chris Palmer - Dialed and Driven Hockey Mentality Podcast is a space for athletes, parents, and coaches to see the depths of hockey and the mental performance that comes with it.
Jeff Lerg runs his own goalie school under the Future Pro USA brand and is the Owner of Goalie Mentors, his extensive experience as a former player and current coach propels his knowledge and life advice. Jeff has reached the ultimate pinnacle of what it means to be a successful Division 1 Collegiate Athlete. Playing at Michigan State University from 2005-09, he has won countless awards and accolades displaying his success; most notably the James E. Sullivan Award awarded annually to most outstanding athlete at the collegiate or Olympic level in the United States, the Senior CLASS Award that is presented each year to the outstanding senior NCAA Division 1 Student-Athlete of the Year, and Today’s Top 10 Award that is given each year by the NCAA to honor ten former outstanding senior Student-Athletes. As well as being an All-American at MSU, Jeff won a National Championship in 2007 with his nearly 150 collegiate games played as the starting goaltender. Former professional goalie for 10+ years playing across the U.S. and Europe, he has had first-hand experience reaching his own goals and helping others achieve theirs.
Chris Palmer, M.A., is a Hockey Mental Performance Coach who trains individuals, coaches, and teams from house leagues to Tier 1 youth hockey across the U.S., Juniors, D3, D1, the AHL, NHL, pro and amateur in the US, Europe and Canada. He trains “heart, head, and guts” with a proven process that helps athletes, coaches, and teams manage distractions, increase focus and intensity, reset quickly after failures, maximize mental toughness and motivation, and develop a grinding and intense compete level. As a former NCAA runner, x2 All-American, and Nike-sponsored athlete, Chris brings a great deal of knowledge athletics and in the mental performance space.
